Just get their plate and let them go. Could have prevented all that damage. The lady in the black car is obviously not going to get out, especially with a man brandishing a weapon. Instead, the hot head cabby comes after her with a weapon. Do you think that's gonna end well? He had a ton of time to get the plate #. All would have have been well in the end. That's what happens when two unreasonable people get in an accident before the cops show up. At that point, the driver of the black car is acting in self preservation.
