Kessler, Shaylee, Kimberly, and I climbed 14,270' Quandary Peak on Saturday with some others. It was much more difficult in November than it is in summer! The temperature was 11F degrees on top, but with the strong winds, the windchill was way below zero. It was a good and challenging day.

As long as you keep moving and have the right gear on. Go for it! :cool2:

With the temperature and wind you report, I'd think you'd want some warm hats (not just headbands) and something to cover your face?!

You should go back in June and do the awesome snow climb up Cristo Couloir! :2thumbs:

I've driven by it, after doing Mt. Democrat a few years back.

If you're standing still, yes, but you can work up quite a sweat while climbing. We did bring facemask, but only wore them when resting for a while.
