I FINALLY made a Best Western page yesterday and got 100 likes the first day, but that exhausted my FB friends list. Please go to the page and hit like. Best Western wants my property to have one. I don't see what good it does, but I am doing my job.

Thanks!

Very nice, Tanya
I tried to hit like, but I don't have a facebook account, or want one.
Some great pictures on the page.

It's not like I wanted to make a FB page. Best Western wanted our hotel to have one. It was a forced thing!

I remember that Thunderbird sign from the times my family visited Zion when I was just a kid. Every summer we made the trip from Louisiana. Glad to see some traditions live on! :2thumbs:

Thanks Savanna. Check out these 2 old pictures! The sad thing is I remember the Tbird as looking like one of them. I am old! ;)6999669997

Thanks Scott! Your wife's post on FB about sleeping on the side of a mountain was great.

It's the sign in the second photo that I remember! It would've been mid-1960s or so. I wanted to live in Zion Park when I was a kid. Now I would be happy with one of those neighborhoods around Snow Canyon or Kayenta! :2thumbs:

Me too! I'm sure my family stayed there at that time. We had a bunch of scrapbooks we created and I was *so* bummed when I learned that my parents threw them out. I'm not much into saving/collecting but it would have been so nice to scan those postcards from those early days trips.

As Neil Young sings: "There are very few of us left my friend, from the days that used to be".
