The dirt is SOOOOO good. The scenery is SOOOOO good. Epic riding right now. double moo was in town from the big island. We rode some new stuff. The 179 I think...among other things. I gotta get back up there.

242, 159, 150, 180, 179... all were good except for 179! Too many steep tight hairpins that required walking and muscling the bike around...

PS, where can I get a trail map that matches the actual trails up there?

Also, 179 did suck a little for a noobie as well, but the challenge was fun to try and successfully make a few of the turns.

Where did you guys start from? Almost looks like Salamander flat down to Elk Camp and mud springs area.

We started at tibble and went up from the dam to the top where the restroom are. Then we headed west and on to the other trails. I would like to ride it again soon. It looks we might have to wait for the storms to pass. Let me know if you are headed up there. :ride:

TRY GPX FOR GPS TRACKS but really it is straight up or down LOL.
THere is enough signs to use the map they give you when they are open.

But I have found myself out of bounds once at this really cool waterfall and after checking our maps we thought it best to motate back north some.
