Rode AF Canyon last night. Conditions were perfect and we only passed 3 other riders all night. Saw a moose, some turkeys, lots of country my eyes have never seen, tipped the bike on the easiest part of the ride, and generally had a great time. My headlight needs some love, way too dim!!!!! Luckily my 2 riding buddies have proper headlights so I was able to ride just fine after dark, but alone would have been much more exciting.

Took video but it was just too dark even at the start to turn out worth watching.

Here is our track.

I was expecting it to be a little more difficult, but thankfully my friends kept us out of the rock gardens and hairy stuff.

There is absolutely nothing like it. It's really cool to see someone experience this stuff for the first time. What a great thing it is! Keep it going. ;)

It really was a blast, I can see that I will be pretty happy just cruising mountains and taking it all in. There were several sections of just what I thought perfect trail, when we would go through a dense stand of spruce or fir trees and it was just wide bare dirt trail twisting around the giant trees up and down, and down and up again.

I am pretty sure I would be a drag to ride with, for most everyone on this forum, but just promise to wave as you blow by me!!!!:haha:

There is something about American Fork that just gets ahold of you. Between the fun single track stuff and the beauty of it all is just hard to escape.
I really love AF for everything she has to offer.
It can get a bit crowded on weekends.
