Woody, Cable, Quandary direct and up knotted rope, and The Squeeze Sept 15-18th

Hi All,

My wife and are planning to do some wet canyons in North wash area and The Swell. We have a pretty ambitious itinerary but with the recent rains the canyons should have great conditions. We are looking for experienced team members who would like to join us. Ideal candidates would have several advanced canyons under their belt.

Itinerary as folllows:

Sunday Sept 15th Woody Canyon at 1pm
Drive to Cable trailhead

Monday Sept 16 Cable Canyon
drive to Hidden Splendor area

Tuesday Sept 17 Quandary Direct and up Knotted Rope

Wed Sept 18th The Sqeeze?
Maybe, if there is time and energy left

Radar at 12:00 noon Saturday shows heavy thunderstomr directly over North Wash and a Flash Flood warning. Rains also continue in the Swell. Roads probably impassable. You may have to reorganize itinerary to include only canyons accessible from pavement. We hope to head down that way on Wednesday thru next Sunday.

Whoa! I know it isn't the 18th yet, but I'm wondering how your trip went. If it happened at all. :mrgreen:

Also (jacking this thread), was anyone crazy enought to go down to Ticaboo this past weekend? Is the road to the Dantes washed out?
