Sacramento Area trails?

So I ride in Auburn a lot, along with Rockville, fleming meadows, and south lake Tahoe. But, are there any good trails around the sacramento area where I live. Im not talking about some American river side trails but anything good that's either in the foothills east or the coastal range west of me? Are there anything north or south of sacramento that's worth a check? I ride mostly all-mountain and technical trails. But Im deffinetly up for xc and smooth flowy trails as well.

Funnest rides I did were up by Forest Hills. That was 20 years ago and I dont have a clue where exactly they were, but I do remember them being alot of fun.
