I was up there 2 weeks ago and yellow powerbait seemed to work until the clouds came in. What's hitting for the Muskies in Joes? I'm taking a float tube and raft..

I'm not entirely sure what the tigers are hitting, but it won't be powerbait. You'll want to throw bigger fox tail spinners and some minnow plugs for starters. I hear the steep side near that rocky shoreline is where a lot of them are being caught.

Mepps no. 2 with the red plastic cut off with about 2ft light leed.

I caught a ~30inch Muskie using lures on the far bank, about 200' from the dam. We then went off to Pete's hole where I was catching a rainbow trout within 5 seconds of bait hitting the water. In an hour, I had landed at least 25 trout.. kept 4 because they swallowed the hook.

Yellow power bait was the key..

Pete's is great! Glad you did well there. From Pete's (for anyone's future reference), you can park and hike east along that trail for a mile, where you turn south toward the mountain side (there's a sign). Academy Mill is a neat little reservoir with tigers, rainbows, and some rumored brookies.

I caught a brookie from Pete's once. Lots of tigers in there too.

Glad you got your TM! I still haven't targeted them, but would like to someday.
