So just how can I make up for lost time? 125 /150/ 250?
Kid can't ride and that is my fault.
To much time with his ummm mommy and I had no bike then.

Have this start from the beginning thing going on, But?:facepalm1:

As much as I keep thinking a 250 he can't shift yet and really has not a clue and I forgot how this works like that.

Alot has changed from my days and 125's are hard to find.

Maybe some time in the field with say a 225 ?

I remember my pops taking me up over corner cyn.
in the 70's on a pos Kawi oil injected 175 with foot pegs.

Just get something and ride! He can learn to shift. Patience!

No kidding patience. My 13 yr old thinks he's had it all figured out, but he is very reserved. He's killed the take off dozens of times. Drives me nuts, but I have to remember that be isn't me. Thank goodness!

Would having a chick barely over 100 lbs zip around on a full size bike help any? Maybe take the shame/competitive route? Lol

Is he honestly interested? Can he do decent in first, like get both feet on the pegs and maneuver without using his feet except to brake until he stops (hopefully purposefully)?

i've got a YZ80 that's nice for teaching newbs on. I went from my yz80 to a CR250 with few issues but I was zipping on the 80 before I stepped up.

Now you'r talking cause he is at that age.:2thumbs:
Plus I'd love to see him get smoked by a girl.......He would have a fit and get it figured out fast.:lol8: either that or we would both be in some deep shit.

I learned on a daily driver-------NOT the best way to learn to ride trust me.

I figured as much. :lol8:

Let me know if you both wanna go out. Usually Sundays are best for me. Probably gonna try for a Coral Pink weekend soon here. I miss my home turf, sand and paddle tires!

Good to see your close to home.
THis weekend is a ride up north but after that?

He live's up north and I still need to get him something to ride but other than this weekend I'm always just shy of ready.
