LAKE POWELL — A new attraction opens at Lake Powell this week — a floating restaurant.
The restaurant, called Latitude 37 (http://www.lakepowell.com/latitude37.aspx), is located at the Wahweap Marina and features indoor and outdoor seating, plus a balcony area with a lake view, according to KTVK-TV (http://bit.ly/1627Lqm).
Customers can access the restaurant from both the land and water. Plus, temporary slips are available for boaters.
Latitude 37 will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"Smoked brisket nachos, barbecued pulled-pork egg rolls and classic burgers will be served up along with milkshake flavors such as peanut butter and banana," reports the Los Angeles Times (http://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/la-trb-arizona-lake-powell-restaurant-20130711,0,3781595.story).
The Times said the restaurant, which seats 50 inside and 46 on the balcony, is managed by Aramark Parks and Destinations, which runs concessions in many national parks and national forests.
It opens Thursday, July 25.
