After seeing @Iceaxe (http://www.bogley.com/forum/member.php?u=36) 's TR from the 4th, I knew that this was on the very short list!
I really wasn't going to post a TR because of Shane's but Trevor completed his first ever solo rappel and has been buzzing ever since. He soloed the first one, but the awkward start of the 2nd sketched him out and ended up being lowered with a sling shot belay.
We hit the trailhead around 10am and finished about 2pm, yea, we are not speedy for sure. Everything takes longer with youngsters. We did practice the top belay technique that was discussed on here a few weeks ago and worked great. Thanks Brian and Tom.
The boys didn't care much for the approach as it was a little sketchy for them at that age, but I'm sure next time they won't be so nervous. Definitely will be a next time though as this is one very fun way to spend a few hours on a hot day.
Steep gully.

What goes up, must come down.

Nancy on the first rappel.
67941
Trevor (6) on his first ever solo rappel.
67942
He did really well and only let go of his brake hand once or twice. Plenty of friction for the little guy and a wet rope.
67943
Brandon (10) taking the watery option.
67944
Justin (12) doing the same.
67945
Lovin' the cool rap.
67946
Me also enjoying the coolness factor.
67947
Nancy having fun on the second rap.
67948
We've never been down a slippery rappel before today...
67949
Justin getting ready to hip slide @Slot Machine (http://www.bogley.com/forum/member.php?u=20293) style.
67950
Doug, Nancy's brother, having a great time.
67951
Everyone is smiling...
67952
Well...Trevor had to force that smile and proptly told me that he was freezing and next time I'd better bring his wetsuit!
67953
Good times for sure.
