Has anyone done Heaps recently? Conditions?

My buddies and I are doing Heaps this weekend and are looking for a report of current canyon conditions. I called the backcountry desk and they told me that they had some rangers do the canyon 3-4 wks ago. Other than telling me that the rangers had "a few" bag tosses, he didn't have a lot of info to give me.

Does anyone have anything more recent? I'm guessing with the drought, the canyon will be more technical than a few bag tosses.

Any info would be appreciated.

I've done the canyon before, but the last time was a romp; I doubt that'll be the case this time.

Haven't been through for awhile but you should check out www.candition.com (http://www.candition.com). It looks like Heaps was last updated a week ago. It's a great spot to see the most recent conditions posted by fellow canyoneers. One of the best ideas I've seen.
