Still 7' snow drifts up there, usually is till early July. Lower trails are open but from experience I know that the June trips mean you can't do any of the tight canyon trails that are north facing, IE the 89, the 05 , and the 87 the trails in and out of Beaver. Last year we went in June and had to turn around due to huge snow drifts in spots.

Good luck.

They didn't get the snow this winter like they did last year. I think you'll be fine. Besides, it's almost July. Have fun.

The Uintas are wide-open above 11,000 feet now, so the Paiute should be good to go. Mtnseeker1, you should get your own blog, dude. Replying multiple times to your own posts = good form! :D

@ Garbanzo:lol8:
I'll be up for just one day helping a riding friend do some fence corners on his property.
I do plan on taking the bike in high hopes of getting some kind of a ride in while there.

I've been there multiple times in June, big snow years and small snow years, and rarely is the 01 over the top dry till July, and the 87 and 89 down into Beaver seem to take a long time to melt out as well. We've just got accustomed to going in July to make sure. Two years ago in June we had big 3-4' tall drifts all over the place between anderson meadow and where the 87 hits the 89. Wasn't dry till we hit the 89 below the ponds.

Yep, I hardly come in here anymore due to the MtnSeeker post proliferation. I get pretty tired of reading a partial sentence per post, 3-4 times in a row. Complete thoughts and complete sentences truly do make a difference.

If I work hard and finish.:lol8:

:ne_nau: If all works well and I can make it to Beaver we should think this one over a bit more?
