I was in Recreation Outlet yesterday here is salt lake and picked up brand new Eddie Bauer dog backpacks for 8.99 reg 49.99. I don't know how long sale is going and I don't work there or anything but thought someone might want to take advantage of this deal.

I'll have to check that out after work. I too just bought one from REI last week but $8.99, that is an insane deal. Do they have them for small dogs (15-20 .lbs)?

Can you post a pic of the dog pack. Any of the cheep ones i have seen are sad and super tacky. I love the rei ones. The rei ultra dog pack is just really good quality and very well put together. I have purchased about 3 different ones for my dog and the rei ones are by far the best I have come across. I figure my backpacks cost 150-300 for nice ones. 75 bucks for my dog to be comfy and such is worth it and makes sense. I have a 2 year old boarder collie btw
