I've been looking at this trip for a while and i figured my kids were ready too so i decided to bring them along since my wife was running Ragnar.

The ascent was about 3-1/2 feet high, but for some reason once the summit was reached, the middle sank in about a foot.

No permit required but it's on private property. Land owner is a jerk from what i hear.

Elitist! Posting pictures without the complete beta.

I'm obviously qualified to be the steward of such pristine wilderness.....because i stumbled upon it first.

And I'm the only one who has beta on the area so i will continue to fight for closure, or at least a ridiculous permit system.

My daughters grew up having many sleepovers on our trampoline.

I will admit--I never outfitted them with a tent though....

You be stylin'

What can I say, I would have backpacked the camp chef up there if it would have fit on the peak.

Thats another thing---I really like good beta, how did you confirm the 3 1/2' climb??

Not doubting you, just looking for accurate info.

Excellent question.

Just because I've made the summit numerous times, I've come to overestimate the height, maybe for bragging rights.

I've decided to come clean and provide an accurate measurement of exactly 3'.

I've come to the conclusion that inaccurate beta could lead to injury and or death in some cases.
