That's the world record jump 177 feet. So he was close to that.

As far as speed of impact on landing it depends heavily on how he dived and the air resistance.

All Depending on air resistance and his mass, and of course if he was pencil diving, flapping like a bird, or cannonball (ouch) doing some quick math with terminal velocity could range anywhere from 70-140MPH (and faster). But I don't think he was doing a cannonball since that makes it a bit slower and he was probably flapping in arms and legs as he was nearing the bottom which would further decrease his velocity...and from that height...probably around 90+ (easy)when he hit...

Probably closer to 60-70 mph. 50% of terminal velocity is reached at approximately 3 seconds and he would have fallen for about 3.3 seconds. Terminal velocity I think is 122mph. Going off memory so it could be a little off

Ahh.. True I was thinking he was falling for longer than that...lol whoops. Yeah, he wouldn't have reached TV in 3 or 4 seconds.
