:facepalm1: I have not had a flat before but it was bound to happen.
Yes the dreaded pinch flat.
I've done well everywhere including places I deserved one like Moab.
So where do I get one? Of all places in the deep sand of Warner:facepalm1: You have got to be kidding me, I told myself but?
Sure as shit it finally happened.

Just thought I'd throw that one out there for giggles and grins.:haha:
I've hit so much crap so much harder that I that oh that can't be good and this one I never even noticed and still can't figure out just were or how?

I meen sand really? You have got to be kidding me right?

The worst part is I was only in about 3 miles at 7:00 am on fathers day:facepalm1: S O A B:lol8:

The day before I put 5glns. gas in the back of the truck and a 21" tube in the cab just in case as we road to NV. Caliente.

THe next day we thought we'll just get a good start and ride till it gets hot LMAO.

Sometimes there are sharp edged rocks luring just under the surface...just sayin.
BTW, what kind of tubes do you run?

Since I started running the 4mm tubes (expensive) I rarely get flats anymore.

STI Extreme Duty for about the last year or so.

Repaired the tire today and I think it was a pinch flat but just one hole right over the valve stem.
So as I slowly pulled the tube out I put some air to it to find the cause.
Then a c lamp to the tire to see if I damaged it. Pinch flat for sure but not with the rim.
Must have hit something just right ( one out of a million) to go as far sown as the steel on the back side of the stem.:ne_nau:

Shit happens trust me. I had lodged a bowling ball size rock between my rear tire and my air box once.:ne_nau:

I could never do this shit again if I tried.:lol8:

Make sure you get 'Natural" rubber and NOT Butyl Rubber. And get Ultra Heavy Duty...I believe they are 6mm thick.

I through the towel in on brige -leekies after about three at 25 -35 smacks came with defaults from the factory and I have to admit the new ones are like all the rest made in CHINA:facepalm1: But? It was not the tubes fault just bad timing.:ne_nau:
Shit happens and we know when it does it is never fun.

The only thing I'll buy from Bridgestone other than car tires is the 403 front tire. I love this tire but they can stick their tubes you know where.

I have noticed that since I resprang the front that when I wheelie it just slams when coming back down and the blisters I'm getting should give this dumb ass a clue.

But it is a learning curve and a dam fine one at that.

Not sure if softening things would take away from the flat I got but it might with more cush? (slower suspension).

Burt dang if she don't feel real good right now in the stopping and starting bumps before and aft turns.
