I've climbed at Sunset Alley, so...

What's the deal here, Bo? The letter real? Are folks taking it seriously?

I've seen some of the issues discussed in the letter first hand, and, I know there's a debate by some of the folks down in your neck of the woods about such things as fixed draws, painted hangers, etc.

Will be interesting to see what comes of all this.

Hi Brian,
The local climbers association is working with the land managers currently to try to resolve what has become a problem at one of the newer crags. When I originally posted the letter that was sent out to us by the land manager, he expressed a desire to try and handle the problem at a local level and not raise a red flag where it might be noticed on a much broader scale. The locals have taken the bull by the horns and I believe a compromise (and reparations) will be made as to not affect future development.
