Not sure if this has been posted yet but within the last week, the gnarly 4x4 road from the corrals up off the North Fork Rd. down into Orderville Gulch has been completely bladed (assuming by ranchers to access their cattle). Almost all of the boulders, rocks, holes have all been pushed away or filled. It is now wide road. As of now, high clearance is not necessarily needed. We were there last weekend and this was not the case. It was a nice surprise when we went back yesterday to spot our truck for the Birch Hollow exit. However, because of this, there is a nice thick layer of soft dirt/silt so if you thought it was a nightmare driving up that road after a rain, it would now be a nightmare x 10. Just a FYI.

Thanks Bryan. I forwarded this to Dave at Zion Adventures who added this:
I was there yesterday on a ZAC birch trip. I mostly agree with the below post. There were a lot of bigger bowling ball sized rocks laying in the road still. A Suburu outback MIGHT make it. A 4-door sedan, I don't think so.
There were some sections with loose / dirt / sand where traction was tough and AWD was helpful.
