What it should say is more Utahns commit suicide than are killed in traffic accidents.

Is there an inherent assumption that if people didn't have a firearm they wouldn't commit suicide? I have a hard time believing that.

Suicides by firearms saw a large decrease after firearms were banned in Australia.... however.... the suicide rate itself remained the unchanged. Folks just switched to other methods to off themselves.
