GoPro Hero 2 Settings for Canyons

What have you guys found to be the best settings in a canyon when using your GoPro? Any settings make the fisheye not so noticeable?

As I'm sure you've found, there aren't a lot of settings that are adjustable on the GoPro. I use 30fps, 1080p. Change to 960p, 48fps if you intend on shooting some dramatic slo-mo shot (waterfall, awesome backflip, etc.).

I don't think there are any anti-fisheye settings. There is software that eliminates the fish-eye effect, I just can't remember what it is called...

I only use the R3 setting on my Hero 2
1280x720 @ 60 fps

I also switched my GoPro to the idiot proof mode. I believe GoPro calls this the "One Button Mode ON", so my GoPro only has and on/off button. I got tired of hitting the wrong setting in the canyon and screwing up my video.

If you are in r4, 960 mode then it'll give you the taller view, which will be more of the fisheye look. So try r3, 720.
