Don't Mess with Park Rangers:
Man upset after asking ranger for help, getting handcuffed instead (http://www.ksl.com/?sid=25352641&nid=148&title=man-upset-after-asking-ranger-for-help-getting-handcuffed-instead&fm=home_page&s_cid=queue-3)

A few years ago on a mountain bike trip to BrianHead, I called the Parwowan PD and asked about the Utah seat belt laws because we were planning on doing some shuttle rides. I was told by the captain that as long as all seat belts were being used, then it was okay to have additional people in my truck including the bed. Apparently these Rangers interpret the law differently. Does anyone know what the law is???

The original article referenced Zion. KSL changed the reference to the Grand Canyon. Sorry for the misleading thread title.

Don't try to convert them to Mormanism either, they don't like that. As our own Discgo can confirm. :haha:
