Beta Request for Cowboy Canyon

Planning on Cowboy Canyon on Friday, May 23, 2013. Anyone been through lately that can provide canyon conditions? Thanks

I was in the area last week but did not do Cowboy. We did Short Canyon and Duckett Slot and were glad to have wetsuits.

There were no bugs then, but the gnats are out and biting in Bluff for the last few days.

I was in the area last week and did Steve Allen's Long Canyon and Gravel Canyon loop. My partner and I went up Cowboy as a side trip, and upclimbed the first rappel. There is a pothole full of water at what will be your final rappel (assuming you are going top to bottom). Also, where we got stopped hiking upcanyon, there is a mandatory waist deep wade. I have never been down Cowboy from the top, but in general as of last week the canyons were tippy top full.
