It is all dirt and for the most part a boring ride out.
I think I'll leave my go pro home and just take what I need and a camera or two.
It is a ride I have been meaning to do and that's why I plated the bike.
Called the Bar whatever ranch yesturday and the gas has been confirmed so all looks good to just ride and have fun.

Now for the hard part-Do I pack beer or lunch LMAO.
My buddies are all carring gas and hell who knows after that.
I'm carrying the spare tube and a six speed LOL. It will get very dusty in the back.:D

This I do know and I am not going to be in the rear chocking on dust.
One is a 95cr250 too smoke and the other is a 400 dr z about the same age:lol8:
They are kind of worried about packing extra gas:lol8: Not me I'm go to go.
We will be filling up at Bar ten about 90 miles in and the temps will be about 90 out there but we start at 8;30.

Maybe i should just get a pict of my air filter before and after:lol8:

Hell maybe I should take the go pro and mount it backwards. Woo hoo.

Turn out to be a really fun day but very slow.
My buddy Don decided to take his 1973 Yamaha 360 DT? out with three blown shocks seals.:lol8:
My other buddy rode his trusty Suzuki DRZ 400.
We rode between 40 and 50 miles per hour for 149.7 miles:2thumbs: With some exceptions when I just could not take it any more and hit 93 just before the School House at MT. Trumble.

I was really impressed with the gas milage I got:lol8: Started out with a full tank of 2.51 glns. put in 1.5 glns. and returned with 3/4 tank.
Funny how a wide ratio 6 speed at 40 miles per hour kicks but on fuel economy.

K so I missed Toroweep by a hundred miles of so but it was a blast.
Washed the dust off and low and behold if we did not get some rain. You should see my air filter after this ride:lol8: From pale blue to dark brownish black.

We don't get much rain in the dez so the bike is loaded and we can only hope for some much less dustier conditions in the morn.:facepalm1:

Nice. I want to ride out there sometime and camp the night so I can get some sunset and sunrise shots.

The road out to Bar Ten Ranch is easy but gets a bit rocky after the Ranch to the look out.
It can be done on a Beemer just a bit tricky and slower. That section is about 10 miles.

Thanks. If I can't get my skill level on my bike up to snuff I can always do it in my FJ.
