Anybody willing to provide some detailed input on selecting the right mountain bike, as well as the different options to consider based on terrain, etc? Any help is appreciated!

Just let us know what type of riding you'll be doing, budget, and mtn biking experience. Hardtail? Full suspension? 26, 27.5, or 29"? Super light and $$ or cheap, heavy and $? Frame type? Size? Weight? The list goes on and on.....
