I am moving from Maui to Kauai. I am looking for any beta or contacts that anyone might have. I have looked on google earth and can see great potential. If you can connect me with any canyonneers I would be grateful.

I have heard from others that have scouted canyons on Kauai that access is a huge issue there meaning hardly any trails. As I'm sure you know from Maui, no trails or EMI roads = bushwhack from hell! I hope you find differently once there, that island has lots of potential for some huge routes.

Yetigonecrazy I am friends with Ren and will talk with him again but I dont think he had any info.

Mojave Silence I agree with the access problem. I was looking at a house in Wailua Homesteads that had a canyon with waterfalls right behind it. So hopefully there is some access near by.

After searching the web I saw a guide company that offers waterfall rappelling, so that might be a starting point for more info...

Aloha Dakine, I have no leads for you (haha sorry!).. My husband and I just moved to Kauai from Utah... we brought all our gear and ropes with us but have no idea where to go either!! If you find something and/or want some people to go scout places with let me know!
