My sister-in-law just asked me for a recommendation for a campground that can accommodate trailers and won't be too cold. They'll be going in about three weeks. If you can give me some suggestions, I can pass them along.

There are some nice ones in Phoenix that are warm this time of year.

What is too cold?

Most of the State Parks accommodate trailers. Quail Creek (for example) should be plenty warm.

Yeah, I know. Well, I'm thinking they don't want to have to wear much more than jackets and they don't want to be in the snow. Other than that, I think they'll deal with pretty much anything.

Well, yeah, but okay, so south is big. Narrow it down some. ;) Actually she gave me some more qualifications...they'd like to fish a little and be able to camp at least somewhat in the trees. And she just got back to me and said, "I have a furnace in my new trailer, so below 30 is [what I mean by] too cold."

In the trees....hmmmmm. You can camp, fish and be near trees out at Vernon reservoir. Its really close too.

That's actually not a bad idea. We used to take the Scouts out there for winter camping quite often.
