Please help save the point of the mountain!!!!

I know that this is not a forum for hang gliders and such, but this is an issue which affects alot of people who come to the point of the mountain from around the world or from a block away.

Please participate in the petition if you feel so inclined.

I for one would really be sad to see the point missing from the skyline and would miss flying there!!!!!

Has Change.org ever brought about any change for issues like this? I recently signed a petition to bring Boy Meets World to Netflix streaming (largely because I thought it was a funny petition) and then I was inundated with requests to sign a bunch of other liberal petitions. I just signed this request (because I do care about the point of the mountain) and was then asked to sign a petition again supporting the liberal agenda. So I'm left wondering if Change.org puts out petitions for things people do care about, only to have them sign petitions for which things George Soros / Change.org.

It is public. You now go through a residential neighborhood to get there, but it is a "State Park".

The bad news is that they own the land and they have permits to mine it.

Bummer as the county spent alot of $ to make the flight park there on the North side a great little place.

Hopefully something can be done to save it, but barring bags of gold coins, I dont think it has much of a chance.
