My riding partners son wanted to get his SaddleSore 1000 so I decided to tag along with the two of them. My buddy and I also needed to prep for our BunBurner Gold.

SaddleSore 1000 = 1000 miles in 24 hours
BunBurner Gold = 1500 miles in 24 hours

We left at 4AM and got home right around midnight. It was a great ride and I really enjoyed the route. We rode through Moab, Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon, Navajo Bridge, Jacob Lake etc. See the map below.

But I was in the shop the other day for some supplies and that new 990KTM with white and Orange sure caught my eye.
Very sweet machine.:slobber:
She just screems ADV

Still only one cooling fan and I have no idea if they ever fixed the front rim taco from years ago. But she sure is purty.

Jealous. I can't even do more than 200 miles a day on my DR but I'm sure it's way less street capable than your Beemer. Though when I get the Vstrom I'll tag along.

I'm hoping to get it before the summer. I'm just watching for a good deal. They are hard to find used but I don't want to pony up for a brand new one. Just generally watching for a more street capable moto.

You two need to pony up and make the trip here. Paiute is a desert atv trail compared to what we have. Not that I don't like it, just sayin....
