Looking around for trail conditions update. Anyone out to Cherry Creek or the Swell today? I sold my Berg FX450 this week and picked up a TE250 today. Naturally, I'm itchin to break it in. Doing some setup work today and hoping to find at least a sliver of dry soil tomorrow within day trip striking distance of SLC.

Let me know what's out there!

Tried to link to a shot of the new ride but apparently I need a few posts first.

Coolness. Would love to see your bike. double moo and I rode the swell last weekend: http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?67800-Temple-Mountain-San-Rafael-Swell

I heard that the swell got pounded with snow last night. I bet cherry creek still has a bit of snow and mud. Soon enough it should be ready though. I did see a few riders headed back from that direction today. You need to get out and ride with us. :ride:

I think I rode with you guys a bit this past summer in AF. I was on a Berg FX450 and my bud was on a white YZ250F. 157 to 37, down to the road and then up the asphault, linked in to the 40 down to Tibble.

Pics as soon as the site allows me.

Might try the south side of Cherry, see if I can't find some low elevation S facing to break in the engine on. Need to put around for a couple hours so I'm ready to rip when it's good and dry.

Let's see that TE 250 as soon as possible.

I see new snow on the pine MTN. Down here.
But about five of us will be hitting the trails about noon.
Then again with this big crazy dude on his Husa on wed. Hope he and his snipped nuts are ready to ride:lol8:

I'd be one when I'm up that way this summer. The Katoom has not had a chance at AF just yet.

Delle is always a good stand by that,s close and usually snow free isn't it guys?:ne_nau: OR 5 mile on the west and south slopes but can be greasy I guess. I don't know what the ground up there looks like right now.

Spent most of the evening checking bolts, greasing, installing silencer, removing tail light assembly, etc. Ready to rock!

Looks like Bates and 5 mile are prob OK at lower elevation, might try the swell tomorrow, we'll see how ambitious I feel in the AM.

Out with the old

As I reflect on those pics, the '10 decals were way better. Oh well, stickers are easy to swap.

Thanks guys. First 2-stroke for me. The wife had a 200-xc a few years ago, that bike was a blast and planted the seed. Still a bit of an experiment. The FX was a rock solid bike that gave me no issues to speak of, just gas, oil and go.

It sounds like Delle looked clear from the highway yesterday, think I'll head out there and run it a while.

Sounds good. I think I'll take the 570 there on Tuesday.
