April water temps and canyon conditions?

I am planning a trip the 2nd week of April. I was thinking of either doing Oderville or Chute of Muddy Creek if the water is not too bad. I know that conditions vary wildly from year to year and I will check before we go, but, generally, what is the water levels/temps like in both drainages in early April? Will we need dry suits or will wetsuits suffice?

Orderville would be really cold without wetsuits. Probably not a good idea.

If water levels are low, Chute is (somewhat) reasonable if you have a high tolerance to cold. I've done it that time of year and all of us made due without. Neoprene socks would really help.

Thank you Scott. That is about what I figured, but nice to hear from actual experience. I have a wetsuit and neoprene socks.
