You don't have to be the "who can blow their check the fastest" king :haha:

The initial purchase of any toy is usually the cheapest part of all

In case anyone here is curious, here is what I ended up getting. Expecting delivery in a couple weeks hopefully. Still have a couple small detail to work out but really excited. Just couldn't justify a rat rod, they look hella cool but a bit overpriced for what you end up with. For me at least....

Pretty excited to learn how to weld, Kody you rock man!

I am selling this 1960 bug. Clean body, Nice patina, removable rear apron, gutted interior with 65-66 lowback seats seats, with autometer boost and tach+adjustible shift light. Bugpack shifter (berg copy) gel-cell battery. Front disk brakes with a 6" narrowed beam with shocks, Flat 4 BRM's with one off centercaps. I have the matching decklid as well.

it has a turbocharged 2161cc engine, Ported steve tims stage one heads, ballaced bottem end, rods and pistons, Old school FORGED bugpack crank, Engle FK8 on CE straight cut gears, smithbrothers steel pushrods, and OLD sckool Gene Berg 1.54 rockers. and a fast fab breather box.

The turbo system is a 1 1/2 over alt header, coated, Aluminum Intake tee with moded and matched endcastings. T3/T4 turbo, carbonsealed and 360* thrust bearing done by shag leone, Fast fab short 4bbl manifold and holley 600cfm carb.

When i put this car together everything was redone and new, the only bolts on the WHOLE car that were not turned are the ones that hold the body to the pan.It has under 100 (very easy)street miles and only about 30 laps down the track. Best e/t was 12.74 @105 and 60ft's 1.8's with good tires. Only kept at 7psi of boost.
