Who are your favs?

Mine are -- should be no surprises here:

1. Louis C.K. (hands down the best current comedian, and very close in terms of humor to George Carlin)
2. George Carlin
3. Chris Rock
4. Jim Gaffigan

I suppose it's a good thing that modern Comedy wasn't a prerequisite...I would have no knowledge of it, or time for it, but then I'm a doddery old fart.

Jeff Foxworthy----You know you're a redneck when you have a $2000 flat screen T.V. in your living room but haven't seen a dentist in 5 years.

He has some good ones, but in reality it is probably Carlin.

Favorite line: "I had the right to remain silent - I just didn't have the ability!" :haha:

Lots of good comedians today, but I like a blast from the past - Richard Pryor. The Mudbone Series w/Miss Rudolph. It's on you tube. (NSFW!!)

Eddie Murphy has some good stuff too. He came much before Chris Rock.

True. I would've put him at 5 or 6. For some reason CR just resonates better with me. His views on racial and political issues are hilarious.

Speaking of Bill Cosby, here is his protege - Sinbad. As funny as Chris Rock or Richard Pryor - but clean! :2thumbs:

David Sedaris -- you can't kill the rooster and Holidays on Ice

Bill Cosby stopped being funny when I learned that he was just being accurate.. "Children have brain Dammage!"
