Shy of a 100 miles in 10 days, 38 lbs to start with and bagels...geez..

That's darn impressive to keep up that energy with just bagels and a few bars.

That was a fun TR to read. Thanks for sharing that.

Hey Blueshade,
Had contacted you before, maybe close to a year ago about doing some canyons together, but never managed to get on the same schedule with your weekend work, etc. Anyhow - what an animal! In 10 days you cleaned out most of the famous Storm King quad peaks. Almost glad we never got together with you - you'd run us old folks intot he ground! Last July, we finally finished off all the peaks on that quad above 13,ooo ft after years and multiple trips into there.
Congratulations on such a solo feat. I look forward to reading the report in its entirity. Drop us a line if you ever want to try and get together on a canyon or two - but take it easy on us!

Thank you for your kind words. It was a fun trip. And yes, the harder/more intense stuff you do the harder it is to find people to do it with. My schedule is largely already full for this year now, if you can believe that. And half of the canyons I'm looking at these days are R or X. So not sure if you'd want to do those anyhow. But happy canyoneering to you!

What a great trip! I love that area, I have not spent near enough time in the Needles, I'm planning a trip there this summer, your trip report got me stoked!
