Dripping Springs Trail
Threat of rain caused Spacecamel and myself to stay out of the canyons this weekend. Instead we took to the trail. 17 miles in our own back yard up and back Dripping Springs Trail. >3,000ft of elevation change. Lots of Rain coming back down. Temps were high 30s when we started out and highs peaked about 45. Cold, rain, fun!
Start of the trail, we went up the drippings springs trail and half way down the Palomar Mcgee trail.

I was tired and decided to lay out Sloth Style.

After reaching the "Summit" and then some, we headed back down, it rained on on pretty much all the way down. We turned a corner and BAM! Rainbow baby.

After 17 miles we were both sore, glad to be back at the car. Went home, and had a tasty homebrew.
