A Christmas Subway 2012

Went through the Subway yesterday w Ram, Tim Hoover, Jonathan Zambella and Luke Galyan. Tough conditions - 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. About 2 feet of snow on the Wildcat Canyon Trailhead. Plenty of snow and ice down to and through the Subway, and well past there. We went through Russell Gulch as being EASIER than getting over the slickrock pass safely. Lots of flowing water and ice on the rappels. Very Cold!
