Provo River Tubing

I'm just catching up on some of the video I shot over the summer. This is from a September trip to tube the Provo River. It's a great way to spend a warm summer day. I'll add the route description to Climb-Utah.com in the near future.

Looks like a nice easy river for the kids. Can you embed a google map by chance of your put in and take out points?

I'll post the complete route info in the free section of my website soon as it warms up. But basically you put In below the dam and take out at Vivian park. The float takes 2 to hour hours.

I made a raft of milkjugs and pallets and floated the Provo river this last summer. It was awesome. People have never been friendlier. Much to my surprise I was offered like 4 free beers.

Great place to go. Although the river is cold even in August and if you take your family make sure they look out for the bridges which will easily pop your tube.

Dont forget the beer! And plan a little layover time on "party island. " On summer weekends there can be 100 people on the island having a good time. I've been known to show up from time to time with a keg of homebrew for the island party.
