Ice Climbing Conditions 2012/13

So what is the ice like around Utah this year? I have friends visiting over the holidays and they were asking about Little Cottonwood, Provo, Maple, ect... or has it been to warm?

Yep, warm. Rumor has the GWI in LCC as "doable" (thin but fun, kinda). Scruffy thin but also doable. Provo scrappy, and suprisingly warm and drippy.

Stairway from last Sunday:

First pitch of the Fang looked doable. Water spout pouring off the namesake pitch. Millers and FoF look anemic but coming along.

Dunno 'bout Maple. They got snow and temp swings, so, maybe.

Rumor has some stuff in Joes coming along. Dirtcicle been gettin' humped pretty hard as the "in" thing.
