How many active ATV'ers do we have here on Bogley? "Active" means you ride at least once/month just about every month of the year, including in snow.

The 4 Poll questions are not limited to the cities indicated, so if you live/ride in the Price area (San Rafael, Moab, etc) then select Central Utah.

I don't even fit your definition of "active" lately. I used to ride mine regularly, but this year I've fired my machine up for a ride maybe six or seven times. Seriously thinking of selling both machines off, since my Jeep will get me just about anywhere I want to go now...

I hear you. I'm finding the Utah ATV community is pretty cliquey, and thus, I've not ridden as much of late. I too have been taking the Jeep and my dually out more often than not. I really need to get a winch on both trucks..

With that said, I hope to ride my ATV tomorrow, then I'm getting in 4 days in the Swell Jan 10th..

My old Honda still gets used about once a month on average and sometimes just hangs out in the back of the truck in hopes of going for a ride:haha:.

I'm a fan of sandstone and desert, so Moab is where I ride the most, but I sure do love the Swell and spent some time on the trails near Kanab. I don't mind riding up in the mountains in the summer but it's not my favorite. Playing in the snow is always a hoot, but haven't done it much lately.

But I can't vote, because like Dennis, I really haven't ridden much since the spring. I actually uncovered my machines last week and fired them up, first time since July. My BF650 ran like crap and I couldn't even get my old Yamy XT350 to start. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the gas they are selling nowadays is garbage?

I would like to spend some time in next spring in the Roost riding and canyoneering.

What would you ask for your machines, Udink?

I'm not sure--I haven't even looked into what they're worth yet, and I'm not sure I'm ready to pull the trigger on selling 'em yet. If money ever gets tight, though, they'll be the first things to go. :)

I don't get out regularly, but my machine is at my house and lotsa riding from there.
Kinda spur of the moment stuff.
And YES, since we began putting corn(ethanol) in our gas, it is very detrimental to most all engines.
I run a ethanol treatment in my boat motor, might start in my smaller truck as well and see if theres a noticeable difference.
Stabil is your friend, until we get our farmers back to making food.

The UTV/ATV community is quite large. We go to quite a few jamborees and ride frequently by ourselves often. I have to roll over to other forums to find more active threads concerning rides and similiar likes.

If active means plowing snow on what seems to be a daily basis, then yes. Other than that I haven't been out much at all in a long time. As far as machines, I still have my same Kawasaki 1996 300 Bayou that I purchased a new a few years out of high school. Its been a fantastic 4 wheeler.
