Someone doesn't understand freedom of speech. A little reminder about me, I protect that freedom for my clients if not daily, at least weekly. You are preaching to the choir there brother.

The rules of Bogley, if I remember correctly as outlined from the beginning by Sombeech and Acca said no F-bombs and no nudity in the general section, in other words, family friendly. (Haven't we plowed this row a dozen times?)

I have kids. I have an office. I don't care to have this stuff pop up on my screen unexpectedly. I am just asking ya'll to respect the rules of the general forum. Cuss away in the rubbish bin -- you have that right.

I beg to differ. I've watched every episode and have never heard the f-bomb. I've heard other words you couldn't get away with on network TV but, never that.

2010 Walking Dead Profanity - Fans of the comic book series know that the books are filled with strong language. However, this is not the case in the show. The strongest word uttered to date is shit, which is used often. The word nig** is used three times in one episode by Merle, and once in each other season by the same character. There is also frequent use of bitch, ass, bastard, damn, hell, and religious remarks. An inmate at a prison says "pussy" and "jerk off" in the same episode.

We established (not really "we", I bought into the rules established by others) rules at the beginning of this site that were meant to keep certain forums family friendly. We have been mostly self-policing. However, sometimes some here step over the line that was established by the Bogley Big Wigs and I am simply trying to preserve the integrity of the site so it doesn't devolve into one big rubbish bin.

No F bombs are dropped in the Walking Dead in the last half of the first season, second season, nor third season. I thought I recalled some being dropped in the first couple of episodes but I could be wrong. Those could have been the pilot episodes and they weren't sure which network was going to air the series maybe.

I am currently typing this from a computer in an Elementary School computer lab, I'm sitting on the back row and the lab is full of 7 year olds who can read the big bold white letters.

While I appreciate this type of humor as much as anybody, I would also ask that it be bleeped out or moved to the Rubbish Bin. I'd like to freely roam the "public" sections of bogley while here at work amongst children.

I have also watched every single episode and can add to this list, and have made a few memes of my own. But I'd like them to be enjoyed by everybody.

Im with Scott on this one. I have never watched one episode of Walking Dead, but was curious as to what the thread was about. (Another thread like this got me started on Breaking Bad and I spent 7 days of my life glued to the TV till I finished it) I opened it to find the first page with a big capital F-bomb. Nothing has changed.... the site has been sailing in the same direction for the past 10 years and isn't going to change. The forum has never catered to children or been politically correct. Concealed carry permits, Walmart sales, how to make diesel, and Agenda 21 do not concern the pre-teen crowds. I have three little boys and every time they see me on this site they roll their eyes and I get "BORRRRRING" chanted at me. For the record, I personally haven't dropped the F bomb in this thread, and I think the banter so far has been civil.

Crowbars are my favorite because it usually exposes the brain. I also think it's cool how much blood and gore there is when blowing a zombies head off with a shotgun. Leaves a neat stain on the wall. Sure, keep it here, just delete the f-bombs off the post and you have no issues with me. Rubbish Bin is fair game for that stuff, just don't try and take over the General section with it now.

Unfortunately this is where the moderator becomes unpopular to 1 of the 2 sides.

This has no bearing on the values, morals, or integrity level of the admins (some say we have none). It's just a fact that if the "big" vulgarities are in the generally accessed areas of a forum, it is flagged, reported, or just avoided by certain people at work.

Again this has no reflection on personal opinion. We just want Bogley to keep getting the Green Light at any place of business.

I offer a compromise for both sides. I'm not fond of editing or censoring posts so I've taken the 2 images and done my own edition, feel free to replace them. If not it's most likely this thread will end up in the Rubbish Bin, as great as it is.

Just a little hint fellas... cleaner means a more a inclusive site. Nasty, naughty, crass, vulgar, etc. means more people go elsewhere and you have a less inclusive site. Reedus posted the rules. Question is do they have any weight anymore or are they selectively applied? Ice ain't king although it seems since he posted this thread the mods are reluctant to send this to the rubbish bin. Whether some or all or none of us like this TV show is irrelevant. It is about the content of the post. Just calling a spade a spade as I see it.

IMHO... Hijacking of threads is a far worse crime and more detrimental to a forum, but that's just me....

Naw Beeech, I don't think you would offend "our side" as we really don't care about it that much. It's just funny really. I think you should err on the side of the conservative/religious types as they tend to get easily offended and just move the pics per forum rules. That way you keep both parties happy and maintain the highest traffic to the site. I can still tell it's the f-word and when looking at the pic it still runs the f-word through my head regardless of whether the "uck" is in there or not. And if I remember my Sunday school correctly, thinking it is just as big a sin as reading it? Although I guess not understanding why the religious peeps get so mad, I probably am not the best person to relate their point, haha.

This season they are really off the track. In the past they really stayed pretty true to the comic storyline. I understand though, it gets so brutal TV viewers probably wouldn't be able to handle it. But here is a sneak peak from the comic. :2thumbs:

Daryl and Merle arent in the graphic novels, well at least not from episode 1-90.

Im excited for Tyrese (new alive black guy)! He is pretty tight! Ex-NFL football player in book.

And yes the books are much more brutal than the TV. For example in the book Michonne chops off the Governors enispay (not sure if I can say penis after reading the rules forum:twisted:) and nails it to the wall. That was after he brutally tortures (physically and sexually) Michonne.
