Garbage. 108 shots in a DIII game against a church school...

A guy on the other team shot 34 for 44 and had 70 points. That's a great percentage and a reason to keep shooting.

Jack Taylor shot 27 for 71 on threes, 52 for 108 overall...give me a break. pass the ball...plus, you win by 75 and are still chucking up threes?

He made 18 more shots than his opponent, but took 64 more shots to get those 18

The opposing coach

"They let us have layups so they could get him (Taylor) shots," Fincham said

That article puts it into perspective. It's a lousy scheme for national attention.

I agree. Not true competition, therefore bogus. More like shooting practice and average practice at best. If I was the other coach I would have done a triangle and two on this guy to shut him down, then maybe they play ball for real. Or a 4 corner stall....:haha:

Triangle and 2 or a box and 1... 4 corner stall.... if I was the opposing coach the minute I saw what they were trying to do I would attempt to stop it, if for nothing else just to get the practice.

Also as a coach when you start blowing the other team out it's time to get your bench some playing time. Your bench works just as hard as the stars in practice and deserves the minutes of garbage time you can get for them.

Anyhoo... that's my 2 cents...

Shoot, the only person that can't see through this sham is Jack's 95 yr old granny.
