Glad we had the chance last night to get another ride in before the snow storm this morning. We were short on time, getting to the resort parking lot at about 4:30, coming out of Wheeler at about 5:30 and it was getting dark already. Kind of depressing but it was a fun ride still.
There were just a couple of snow spots, and a hand full of really sticky mud spots. The horses had come through and had a hay day (pun intended) with very deep hoof prints in spots. Nonetheless, mud spatter and all it was good to get out.
Oh and watch out for the very large pine that snapped off and is lying across the trail in lower icebox canyon.
