We had a family party at my parents' house over the weekend for the kids, went on a little hayride, carved pumpkins, candy apples, all the good stuff.

What are your plans? What are your costume ideas? My kids were Thing 1 and Thing 2

We have a big party on our block, close off the street, pass out popcorn, candy, hotdogs, etc.... Last year we had over 1000 kids come, got 20 big bags of candy so hopefully I don't run out in an hour like last year. I was going to make a haunted house this year but when I started planning it people said it would be too scary for the kids, so I wimped out.

The Saturday before Halloween really does have the best adualt parties of the year.... It's also fun to go clubbing that night as some of the clubs throw some pretty amazing prizes up for grabs in costume contests, which in turn brings out some pretty amazing costumes.

Tomarrow night perhaps I'll dress like "Magic Mike" and stand at the front door and hand out candy. :roflol:

For years I've wanted to dress the whole family like that, then head to a Ute football game and disperse into the stands, have someone take a high def pic and use it for christmas cards...

The house is scary, scary, scary... dark, lit up monsters, ghosts swirling around and there was only one small fire problem, but I put it out....

I have on my sheet - I am a ghost. I think the door blows open. My husband comes in the door (very handsome, body builder) it's not that he is ugly and I let out the most blood curdling scream. I was suppose to be the scary one!

I think I am retired for the night! He can take over. :shock:

Sadly I was unable to get into the Holloween festivities because I was in a serious accident and ripped open my face zipper. :haha:
