Hunting Pics

I haven't seen a thread for hunting pictures so I thought it would be cool if everyone had a spot to post their trophy shots. I shot this whitetail buck on opening day in Georgia on 10/20/12. It's my first wall-hanger.

Wow, that's one tall set of horns you got there. Are all GA whitetails tall like that?

What did you shoot him with?

Thanks. There's plenty that get that tall and even taller. The taxidermist aged him at 5.5 years old. He weighed 180. I shot him with a Mossberg bolt action 30-.06 through a Nikon Monarch 4-9x50.

Thanks. Yea he came out a little before 7 and shot him shortly after with a decent bit of light left. It gets completely dark around 7:30

A couple from this years southeast Utah hunt.

Six nights on the Blue Mountains. I tagged a small three on day two and DJ tagged his on day seven. A great hunt and a freezer full of meat as well!
