I noticed one on KSL classifieds today and It is from all looks and it's set up a really nice bike.
I just don't know anything about them.

Hmmm ok anybody ever hear of them?:lol8:

They have a reputation of being lighter than a KTM with more power and parts are about how we all get them anyway /shipping.
Working on them I have no idea of the difference.

I don't know very much about them other than they come set up race ready with all of the goodies much like how ktms are from the factory. It has been about 10 years since I talked with a friend of mine that was the representative for TM out of Billings, Montana. I don't know if he is still racing and selling them or not. I am terrible about maintaining contact sometimes. I can't even remember his last name but his first name is Bill.

Hey thanks REDFOX.
I've heard great things about them but I have also heard great things about the Husky's. They are nice bikes but have a bit of a rep for problems and I'm hoping to hear something different about the TM's.

I've got my 01 XR650R up for sale and may just sell the 08 YZ if I can land something that I'd love to ride with an electric starter and head lamp or even better a street legal machine that is light and trail and desert ready with some kick but suspension.

This TM seems like it may solve my dirt-y and need-y habits.

They look nice. The closest dealers are Idaho and California. That's what I know:roll:

Start looking for parts now! If you have any issues sourcing them... You'll end up having a bad experience in the long run. Much easier to get parts now that the Internet has shrunk the world - where are they coming from? shipping costs and delivery durations? Etc...

520RR. I'd take one. They carry them at Steadmans in Tooele.

That is an interesting bike. It might be awesome but I have never really read any reviews.

I have to say I still get butterflies every time I walk into my garage :cool2:
The more rides I do the more I like.

That's what it's all about! Love what you ride, ride what you love. :)

This is true but I'd love a light, electric start and fuel injection.:cool2:

I have had times when a magic button would be really nice, Like on hill sides, water crossings and well just about everywhere.:lol8:
And a light would have been a real asset on the AM trail one time. Yes Garbo this is a head lamp and has nothing to do with weight.:facepalm1:
Fuel injection makes it real nice when you come from 2400' and head up to the 9000' plus rides.:ride:

You should buy a gas gas enduro and then let me ride it to see if it is a good bike. :D
