I've been there many times. There are smaller ones scattered around the island, too. Mostly on the Kona side.

We were there this spring! We stayed near Pahoa in Leilani Estates. Rented a Jeep and drove out here & hiked around. Tried to bodysurf but was too rough but we had a great time!

Almost forgot! There are a few goe aches out there as well....an actual container cache and a few Earth Caches. We got one by South Point and the the one near the rim of the crater. I'll try to find a few pics to post!
