I need a new chain on the Kona Stinky. It's 18 gears, 2 rings up front 9 in the back.
What would you guys recommend?
Been running SRAM chains with a speed link for a while now http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000RWE868/ref=nosim/dancarlincom-20 I also use hot wax to clean/lube my chains and they have held up well :)

I use shimano Dura Ace chains on my roadie and on my Niner, they seem to outlast the Srams that I used to use by quite a bit. I also started using Park CL-1 chain lube about 2 years ago and love it's ability to hold up to even the dreaded Snow Basin silt. http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-CN-7701-Dura-9-speed-Chain/dp/B0007LEXWI http://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-CL-1-Synthetic-Bottle/dp/B000AOA290

What are you getting mileage wise on your roadie with the Dura ace?

Don't worry about the chain, sell the bike, and buy some runing shoes. We all know running is a "real" mans sport.........haha
Really, I agree on the scram with speed link, just don't go with one of those weight winnie chains, they don't last as long and cost more.

It's hard to say with my trainer time not accounted for, but I'm thinking close to 2800ish miles??

I have been using the sram pc971 chain and triflow spray for the past 15 years. I have tried every chainlube and the triflow has been the best for me. You know how rough I am on my chains. I pedal a heavy bike never using my small ring. I just stand up and grind. I have only broken a chain once although I try to replace the chain every 2 years. Chains are cheaper than cassettes and raceface rings. Check go-ride for chains and info.
