I'm not sure how many more opportunities I'll have to get out and enjoy these spectacular canyons. Life has a tendency to change on you quickly.
However, this last weekend my son Tyler and I were able to make the drive and be back in time for Monday morning school.

Tyler wouldn't take the first drink after we filled up at the spring (not sure if it needs purification, but did so anyway). So, I told him I would take the first sip. I then started to stumble and look lethargic. It took a long time for me to convince him I was just faking it, and the water was fine. :haha:

Wow, what a fun place to visit! Loved every second (well, except maybe for the last 2 miles of nice accessible road to the MIA gate...)
