Been back home a couple weeks and thought I'd post these shots taken by myself and JR. I had three newcomers to Zion with me out of our group of 5, so we tackled some of the more basic (yet still photogenic) technical canyons, and some mandatory non-technical stuff. The last two shots wouldn't have been possible on my D90; JR brought his full-frame D700, and showed me what I want for Christmas.
The recent flash put us off our sched and we had to abandon plans for Behunin. Next year. The rains did, however, flush out the canyons with some relatively clean and not-too-cold water.
Cheers,
Steve B.

Willis Creek (2-shot vertical pano stitch and cropped to square...I think it helped to maximize the depth of field

The deepest darkest part of Pine. I know it looks well-lit but it was a full second at F8 and 3200ISO
