This event is bound to inspire! Kristin Sumbot and Lhakpa Sherpa both have amazing stories to tell (see below for background). The event will teach us about the unique parallels between the diagnosis of cancer and the battle that follows compared with the battle to climb an enormous mountain. We will learn about the crisis of cancer care in developing countries, and all the money generated from the night will go to update and provide cancer care to those in Nepal. Not only will you be inspired but just by attending

I don't know how many of you are familiar with Radiating Hope, but they are an awesome foundation! Radiating Hope is a 100% volunteer run 501(c)3 non-profit organization for humanitarian services. Founded in 2010, they believe that the efforts of one can change the lives of many. Radiating Hope climbs for cancer patients. They setup prayer flags on mountain tops, and raise money to provide and update radiation equipment in countries where radiation therapy and cancer care is hard to find.

This is an organization that I fully endorse, and wanted to bring this event to your attention if you can make it.
